Wacom’s new STU-520 LCD signature tablet improves customer communication at POS

Wacom today pre-announces an addition to its range of digital signature products – the STU-520 LCD signature tablet. Ideal for organisations including banks, hotels and shops, signature tablets enable digital handwritten signatures to be recorded where digital workflows or high levels of security are crucial. In addition, the STU-520 provides an innovative way of communicating a brand, advertising or sales initiatives to the customer at POS. This is enabled by Wacom’s first colour LCD for the signature market that displays high-res images and logos. The STU-520 will be available from Autumn 2010.

STU-500 and SignDoc received certification mark of German Technical Inspection Association Group
TÜV Saarland, a member of the German Technical Inspection Association Group (Technischer Überwachungs-Verein, TÜV) recently certified SOFTPRO’s SignDoc in combination with Wacom’s signature tablet STU-500. The TÜV was testing version 3.1 of SignDoc in conjunction with the signature tablet SignPad eSignio.
