Easy-to-read screen:
Wacom STU-430 / STU-430V

The STU-430 is a full-featured, monochrome signature pad with a new thin design and a low-profile, flat surface. The 4.3’’ screen is large enough to capture longer signatures as well as to accommodate soft buttons in addition to the signature area. The transflective LCD is easily readable in varying light conditions. The STU-430 is extremely durable, featuring Wacom’s patented maintenance-free EMR technology with no less than 1024 pressure levels and a hardened glass surface that protects the LCD screen and is highly resistant to scratches. For security an AES-256 / RSA-2048 encryption comes along with the STU-430. The integrated pen holder doubles as a USB cable lock to prevent accidental disconnection of the USB cable.

Signature Capture for Legacy Terminal Server Support

The STU-430V builds on the success of the original STU-430, but its distinguishing feature is the flexibility to support different network configurations. Its virtual COM port mode supports terminal server environments by using a physical USB connection to the client instead of a serial connection. The STU-430V can also be set to use standard USB connectivity when a virtual COM port is not needed.
