Hall 3, Stand B17, ECM Solutions Park at BITKOM
The industry comes together at CeBIT in Hanover every year and 2015 is no exception – this time with the motto “New Perspectives in IT Business”. As the leading provider of digital signature solutions for banks and insurance companies, Wacom Europe GmbH will be presenting both commerce and the public with products that not only offer legal security but are also ergonomic for signatories to use.
This is just one of the reasons why numerous companies in Germany and all over Europe – with IKEA and Görtz in the retail industry, cooperative banks and savings banks, and the Berlin State Administration Authority (Berliner Landesamt für Bürger- und Ordnungsangelegenheiten) being but a few examples – put their trust in the solutions developed by market leader Wacom.
New perspectives that Wacom will be presenting at CeBIT also include a new product that will be displayed for the first time in Hanover.
The advantages of digital signature solutions
Companies seeking to incorporate signature solutions into their digital workflow will benefit from the use of Wacom devices in many different ways:
- Secure signature capturing with biometric characteristics such as writing speed and pressure
- Durable products suitable for frequent use every day ensuring return on investment
- Complete solutions comprising both hardware and software
- Easy to incorporate into existing IT infrastructures
- Writing experience is comfortable for the user
Wide range of solutions for different requirements
These advantages can be gained by using two basic product lines: signature pads are small, compact products that are used, for example, at the POS. They display the signature box and can – depending on the model – also show colour logos and advertising. Signature displays offer a larger surface in order to display full pages of text, such as contracts. This means that signatories can actually see the document they are signing. Wacom also offers the Bamboo Stylus fineline for use on the go, which enables secure, biometric signature solutions to be created on Android and iOS tablets as well.
Talk: Electronic signatures from a legal perspective
As part of the conference programme, Prof. Dr. Patrick van Eecke (Partner, DLA Piper) will be giving a talk on electronic signatures from a legal perspective, including in view of improvements to EU legislation (presentation in English). He will explain why providers can rely on signature solutions from Wacom, from a legal as well as technical point of view.
His talks will be held at stand B06 in hall 3 on 17th March 2015 at 3:30-4:00 pm and on 18th March 2015 at 10:00-10:30 am. Attendance is free to trade-fair ticket holders and registration is not necessary.
