Digital signature pioneers Wacom and Lucom together at Infosecurity

Joint exhibition for presentation Wacom pad and Lucom solution for paperless world

Utrecht, October 27, 2015 – Wacom Business Solutions, provider of pen tablets and digital signature solutions, and Lucom Benelux, specialist in realising paperless administrative processes, jointly present themselves during Infosecurity on 4 and 5 November at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht.

Many organizations seek to digitize their processes and make them as paperless as possible for reasons of efficiency, cost and durability. Yet, often at the beginning and end of a transaction, ‘paper moments’ remain, as data may be completed on the spot or a signature may be required for validation.

From tick to biometric signature
The combination of Wacom pen tablets and pads with the Lucom solution for digital signatures makes it possible to digitize the entire process, including the signature. That combination is, for example, already in use in almost all point-of-sale locations of the major telecom providers, but also in logistics processes where receipt of goods or other process have to be sanctioned with a tick, a PKI certificate or a biometric signature.

Wacom and Lucom jointly present the latest developments in the field of paperless signing at Infosecurity booth 130 01.C. On the exhibition floor and during seminars, extensive presentations will be given, including biometric signatures. A wide variety of applications and scenarios will be on display.

Jan van Buren, managing director of Lucom Benelux BV, and Thomas Kaeb, senior sales manager at Wacom, will be giving a presentation on ‘Efficient paperless workflow in point of sale’ on both days from 15:30 to 16:00 in Room 8.
